Mojito

The drink was born in Cuba, in the 1920s. It became rather popular
among the American tourists due to the prohibition of alcohol and
started its way into bars all around the world.

Ice cubes
3 parts white rum
1 dash Angostura
1 part sugar syrup
3 parts soda water
½ lime juice
4 mint leaves

Pour the sugar syrup in the collins glass and add the mint leaves. Crush them in the bottom of the glass with a muddler. Don’t have a muddler? Use the end of a wooden spoon or a teaspoon instead. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the rum and add a dash of Angsotura. Fill up with sparkling water and stir gently. Decorate with lime pieces and serve with a straw.
